Over the last one year, HUL has moved up from Rs 1,672 to Rs 2,325, registering a gain of Rs 653 (up 39.1%).
On the other hand, the BSE FMCG has moved down from 11,652 to 10,410, loss of 1,242 points (down 11.4%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE FMCG Index stocks during this same period were NESTLE (up 40.9%), HUL (up 39.1%) and GSK CONSUMER (up 33.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 10.0%), HUL (up 8.0%) and HDFC BANK (up 7.7%). Other gainers include KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 7.4%) and ICICI BANK (up 6.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC and BAJAJ FINANCE.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 8,468 (up 4.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 10.0%), M&M (up 7.9%) and ICICI BANK (up 7.7%). Other gainers include AXIS BANK (up 6.8%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 5.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,877 to 28,963, registering a loss of 9,914 points (down 25.64%).
HUL net profit stood at Rs 16 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 14 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 2.6% to Rs 98.1 billion during the period as against Rs 95.6 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, HUL reported 19.6% increase in net profit to Rs 62.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 52.6 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 8.5% to Rs 393 billion during FY19.
