Indian Stock Market Updates April 9, 2020

MINDA CORPORATION Surges by 11%; BSE 500 Index Up 2.8%

MINDA CORPORATION share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 63.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 11,726 (up 2.8%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are MINDA CORPORATION (up 10.7%) and CIPLA (up 15.0%).

CITY UNION BANK and DR. LAL PATHLABS LTD are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MINDA CORPORATION has moved down from Rs 133 to Rs 63, registering a loss of Rs 70 (down 52.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved down from 15,268 to 11,726, loss of 3,542 points (down 23.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 364.9%), ABBOTT INDIA (up 151.6%) and NAVIN FLUORINE (up 104.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 30,847 (up 2.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HDFC (up 5.0%), TATA STEEL (up 5.0%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 5.0%). Other gainers include BHARTI AIRTEL (up 4.9%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 4.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,033 (up 2.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include CIPLA (up 13.4%), TATA MOTORS (up 8.1%) and JSW STEEL (up 7.7%). Other gainers include VEDANTA LTD (up 7.3%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 5.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,701 to 30,847, registering a loss of 7,854 points (down 20.66%).
