On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 18,384 to 12,261, loss of 6,123 points (down 33.7%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 12.8%) and SIEMENS (up 5.4%).

The BSE Sensex is at 31,568 (up 1.8%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are L&T (up 6.1%), INDUSIND BANK (up 6.0%) and ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 5.5%). Other gainers include AXIS BANK (up 4.7%) and ITC (up 4.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and TECH MAHINDRA.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,261 (up 1.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include UPL (up 15.2%), INDUSIND BANK (up 6.1%) and BRITANNIA (up 6.0%). Other gainers include SHREE CEMENT (up 5.7%) and L&T (up 5.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,906 to 31,568, registering a loss of 7,338 points (down 19.71%).
SIEMENS net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.9% to Rs 26.7 billion during the period as against Rs 28.1 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended September 2019, SIEMENS reported 22.0% increase in net profit to Rs 11.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 9.0 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 7.6% to Rs 138 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SIEMENS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 39.7x. p >
