Indian Stock Market Updates April 17, 2020

TCI EXPRESS LTD Surges by 11%; BSE 500 Index Up 1.5%

TCI EXPRESS LTD share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 658.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 12,149 (up 1.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are TCI EXPRESS LTD (up 11.0%) and SHRIRAM TRANSPORT (up 12.5%).

INDIA CEMENTS and SRF LTD are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TCI EXPRESS LTD has moved down from Rs 697 to Rs 658, registering a loss of Rs 38 (down 5.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved down from 15,501 to 12,149, loss of 3,352 points (down 22.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 346.0%), ABBOTT INDIA (up 112.1%) and NAVIN FLUORINE (up 99.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 31,712 (up 1.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TCS (up 5.4%), ICICI BANK (up 5.2%) and AXIS BANK (up 4.7%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 4.3%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 3.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and TATA MOTORS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,324 (up 1.8%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDIABULLS HOU. FIN. (up 10.3%), EICHER MOTOR (up 6.7%) and ICICI BANK (up 5.8%). Other gainers include TCS (up 5.6%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (up 5.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,276 to 31,712, registering a loss of 7,564 points (down 20.82%).
