HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES Plunges by 5%; BSE IT Index Up 4.3%

HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 302.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 14,146 (up 4.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT Index today is HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES (down 5.4%).

CYIENT (up 8.6%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 7.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES has moved down from Rs 348 to Rs 302, registering a loss of Rs 46 (down 13.3%)..

The BSE IT has moved down from 16,264 to 14,146, loss of 2,118 points (down 13.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT Index stocks during this same period were INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 6.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 33,887 (up 2.7%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HERO MOTOCORP (up 7.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 9,889 (up 2.7%). TATA MOTORS (up 12.7%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,032 to 33,887, registering a loss of 5,145 points (down 13.91%).

HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES Financial Update...

HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 3.7% to Rs 15.9 billion during the period as against Rs 15.3 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended December 2018, HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES reported 16.8% increase in net profit to Rs 5.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 5.0 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 17.9% to Rs 46 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HEXAWARE TECHNOLOGIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.3x.
