The BSE OIL & GAS Index Down 3% ; PETRONET LNG Among Top Losers

The BSE OIL & GAS Index has plunged 3% to 11,874.

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are PETRONET LNG (down 4.7%), CASTROL INDIA (down 4.6%) and BPCL (down 4.2%). Other losers include HPCL (down 3.6%) and IOC (down 3.5%).

Over the last one year, the BSE OIL & GAS Index has moved down from 15,358 to 11,874, loss of Rs 3,484 (down 22.7%).

The top losers among the BSE OIL & GAS during this same period were ONGC (down 54.1%), IOC (down 48.5%) and GAIL (down 47.8%).

What about the Benchmark Indices?

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex has plunged 4.7% to 32,748.

Among the top gainers in the BSE Sensex today .

The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex is SUN PHARMA.

In the meantime, the NSE Nifty is at 9,534 (down 4.7%).
