Indian Stock Market Updates June 3, 2020

CHALET HOTELS Surges by 12%; BSE 500 Index Up 1.6%

CHALET HOTELS share price has zoomed 12% and is presently trading at Rs 163.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,120 (up 1.6%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are CHALET HOTELS (up 12.4%) and IFCI (up 10.0%).

AKZO NOBEL (down 0.1%) and INFOSYS (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, CHALET HOTELS has moved down from Rs 345 to Rs 163, registering a loss of Rs 182 (down 53.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved down from 15,705 to 13,120, loss of 2,585 points (down 16.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 551.2%), NAVIN FLUORINE (up 119.9%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 116.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 34,380 (up 1.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINANCE (up 5.1%), AXIS BANK (up 4.1%) and HDFC BANK (up 3.6%). Other gainers include ICICI BANK (up 3.4%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,152 (up 1.7%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include BRITANNIA (up 6.7%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.9%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 4.5%). Other gainers include TATA MOTORS (up 4.4%) and AXIS BANK (up 3.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 40,268 to 34,380, registering a loss of 5,888 points (down 14.70%).
