RELIANCE INFRA Share Price Up by 10%; BSE POWER Index Up 1.8%

RELIANCE INFRA share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 29.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,578 (up 1.8%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today is RELIANCE INFRA (up 9.8%).

Over the last one year, RELIANCE INFRA has moved down from Rs 43 to Rs 29, registering a loss of Rs 14 (down 32.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved down from 1,996 to 1,578, loss of 418 points (down 21.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were GMR INFRA (up 47.0%), TORRENT POWER LTD (up 31.8%) and ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 8.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 35,032 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINANCE (up 3.9%), INDUSIND BANK (up 2.8%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 1.8%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 1.6%) and AXIS BANK (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are RELIANCE IND. and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,341 (up 0.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include CIPLA (up 5.8%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.7%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 3.9%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 2.7%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,113 to 35,032, registering a loss of 4,081 points (down 10.49%).

RELIANCE INFRA Financial Update...

RELIANCE INFRA net profit down at Rs 10 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 8.3% to Rs 36.3 billion during the period as against Rs 39.5 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, RELIANCE INFRA reported 468.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.6 billion compared to net loss of Rs 966.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.7% to Rs 254 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of RELIANCE INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 1.4x.
