JAI CORP LTD Share Price Up by 5%; BSE METAL Index Down 0.1%

JAI CORP LTD share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 92.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 7,687 (down 0.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE METAL Index today is JAI CORP LTD (up 5.0%).

JSW STEEL (down 0.2%) and NMDC LTD (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, JAI CORP LTD has moved down from Rs 100 to Rs 92, registering a loss of Rs 7 (down 8.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved down from 10,754 to 7,687, loss of 3,067 points (down 29.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL Index stocks during this same period were JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 8.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 35,707 (down 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ASIAN PAINTS (up 5.7%), ITC (up 3.4%) and NESTLE (up 1.3%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.2%) and TITAN (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,553 (up 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ASIAN PAINTS (up 6.1%), TATA MOTORS (up 4.5%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 4.3%). Other gainers include ITC (up 3.5%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,123 to 35,707, registering a loss of 3,416 points (down 9.50%).

JAI CORP LTD Financial Update...

JAI CORP LTD net profit down at Rs 32 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 37 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 14.1% to Rs 1.3 billion during the period as against Rs 1.5 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, JAI CORP LTD reported 527.4% increase in net profit to Rs 497.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 79.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 6.4% to Rs 6 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAI CORP LTD, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 85.6x.
