Indian Stock Market Updates July 1, 2020

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD Share Price Up by 5%; BSE POWER Index Down 1.5%

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 190.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,562 (down 1.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today is INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD (up 5.4%).

SIEMENS (down 0.1%) and ADANI POWER (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE LTD has moved up from Rs 142 to Rs 190, registering a gain of Rs 48 (up 33.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved down from 2,117 to 1,562, loss of 555 points (down 26.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were GMR INFRA (up 33.0%), ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 18.1%) and TORRENT POWER LTD (up 10.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 35,152 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are AXIS BANK (up 2.2%), SBI (up 2.0%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.9%). Other gainers include HDFC (up 1.8%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are INDUSIND BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,363 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include UPL (up 3.1%), AXIS BANK (up 2.2%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 2.0%). Other gainers include SBI (up 2.0%) and HDFC (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,686 to 35,152, registering a loss of 4,534 points (down 11.60%).
