IRB INFRA. at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 1.0%

IRB INFRA. share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 121 (up 2.6%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 13,997 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are IRB INFRA. (up 2.6%) and SHANKARA BUILDING PRODUCTS LTD (up 6.3%).

ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 5.0%) and FUTURE RETAIL LTD (down 5.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IRB INFRA. has moved up from Rs 92 to Rs 121, registering a gain of Rs 29 (up 31.08%).

The BSE 500 has moved down from 14,960 to 13,997, loss of 963 points (down 6.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 176.9%), NAVIN FLUORINE (up 159.5%) and ICICI SECURITIES LTD (up 134.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 36,542 (up 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 2.7%), ICICI BANK (up 1.7%) and SBI (up 1.4%). Other gainers include TATA STEEL (up 1.4%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and INDUSIND BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,764 (up 0.5%). INDUSIND BANK (up 2.7%) and HINDALCO (up 2.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,721 to 36,542, registering a gain of -2,179 points (up -5.7%).

IRB INFRA. Financial Update...

IRB INFRA. net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 9.1% to Rs 15.8 billion during the period as against Rs 17.4 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, IRB INFRA. reported 7.2% increase in net profit to Rs 8.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 7.9 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 17.8% to Rs 67 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IRB INFRA., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 5.7x.
