INDUSIND BANK Share Price Down by 5%; BSE BANKEX Index Down 3.1%

INDUSIND BANK share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 535.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 24,811 (down 3.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE BANKEX Index today are INDUSIND BANK (down 5.4%) and RBL BANK LTD (down 6.7%).

Over the last one year, INDUSIND BANK has moved down from Rs 1,474 to Rs 535, registering a loss of Rs 939 (down 63.7%)..

The BSE BANKEX has moved down from 34,256 to 24,811, loss of 9,445 points (down 27.6%) during the last 12 months.

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 36,538 (down 1.6%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.4%) and TITAN (up 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are BHARTI AIRTEL and TITAN.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 10,756 (down 1.6%). DR. REDDYS LAB (up 1.3%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 38,897 to 36,538, registering a loss of 2,359 points (down 7.18%).

INDUSIND BANK Financial Update...

INDUSIND BANK net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 13 billion a year ago. Operating income rose 1.4% to Rs 73.9 billion during the period as against Rs 72.8 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, INDUSIND BANK reported 8.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 33.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 36.1 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 28.8% to Rs 223 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDUSIND BANK, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 7.0x.
