TRIDENT Share Price Down by 5%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.6%

TRIDENT share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 6.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,233 (up 0.6%).
Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today is TRIDENT (down 5.0%).
VODAFONE IDEA (up 7.4%) and M&M FINANCIAL SERVICES (up 5.3%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, TRIDENT has moved up from Rs 6 to Rs 6, registering a gain of Rs 0 (up 0.7%)..
The BSE 500 has moved down from 15,112 to 14,233, loss of 879 points (down 5.8%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 622.5%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 193.6%) and GRANULES INDIA (up 185.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 37,410 (up 0.7%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HDFC BANK (up 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are INDUSIND BANK and HDFC BANK.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,003 (up 0.7%). HDFC BANK (up 2.8%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 39,216 to 37,410, registering a loss of 1,806 points (down 4.92%).
TRIDENT Financial Update...
TRIDENT net profit down at Rs 396 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 419 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 12.4% to Rs 9.9 billion during the period as against Rs 11.3 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2019, TRIDENT reported 39.9% increase in net profit to Rs 3.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.7 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 14.8% to Rs 52 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of TRIDENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 0.9x.
