GMR INFRA Share Price Up by 11%; BSE 500 Index Up 1.2%

GMR INFRA share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 24.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,503 (up 1.2%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are GMR INFRA (up 11.1%) and THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES (up 11.4%).

Over the last one year, GMR INFRA has moved up from Rs 15 to Rs 24, registering a gain of Rs 9 (up 63.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 14,424 to 14,503, registering a gain of 79 points (up 0.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 7.6%), KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 4.8%) and TCS (up 3.9%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 3.8%) and M&M (up 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and AXIS BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,300 (up 1.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 7.1%), KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 4.7%) and TATA MOTORS (up 4.6%). Other gainers include GRASIM (up 4.3%) and TCS (up 4.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,686 to 38,480, registering a gain of 794 points (up 2.07%).

GMR INFRA Financial Update...

GMR INFRA net profit declined 22.7% YoY to Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 12.2% to Rs 22.0 billion during the period as against Rs 19.6 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2018, GMR INFRA reported 266.4% increase in net profit to Rs 6.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.8 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 8.7% to Rs 87 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GMR INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 4.1x.
