HEG Share Price Up by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.7%

HEG share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 822.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 13,010 (up 0.7%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are HEG (up 5.4%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 9.8%).

CARBORUNDUM UNIVERSAL and L&T (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HEG has moved down from Rs 1,012 to Rs 822, registering a loss of Rs 190 (down 19.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 17,343 to 13,010, loss of 4,333 points (down 25.1%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERONAUTICS (up 50.7%), HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 31.8%) and AIA ENGINEERING (up 4.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 38,044 (down 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.0%), BAJAJ FINSERV (up 1.7%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.3%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 1.3%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are AXIS BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,214 . The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.3%), UPL (up 2.1%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (up 2.0%). Other gainers include BPCL (up 1.9%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,977 to 38,044, registering a gain of 1,067 points (up 2.58%).

HEG Financial Update...

HEG net profit down at Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 59 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.9% to Rs 3.7 billion during the period as against Rs 3.9 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, HEG reported 182.1% increase in net profit to Rs 30.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 10.8 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 139.0% to Rs 66 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HEG, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 58.6x.
