THERMAX Share Price Up by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.1%

THERMAX share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 787.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 14,010 (up 1.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is THERMAX (up 5.1%).

GRAPHITE INDIA (down 0.1%) and HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, THERMAX has moved down from Rs 1,075 to Rs 787, registering a loss of Rs 288 (down 26.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 16,942 to 14,010, loss of 2,932 points (down 17.8%) during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 38,119 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NTPC (up 7.8%), BAJAJ AUTO (up 3.9%) and POWER GRID (up 3.7%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 2.8%) and TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,249 (up 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include NTPC (up 7.8%), EICHER MOTOR (up 5.6%) and ZEE ENTERTAINMENT (up 4.1%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 4.0%) and POWER GRID (up 3.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,312 to 38,119, registering a gain of 807 points (up 1.69%).

THERMAX Financial Update...

THERMAX net profit stood at Rs 850 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a profit of Rs 757 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 1.8% to Rs 14.1 billion during the period as against Rs 14.4 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, THERMAX reported 62.3% increase in net profit to Rs 4.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.6 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 33.2% to Rs 60 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of THERMAX, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 31.2x.
