BASF INDIA Share Price Up by 12%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.8%

BASF INDIA share price has zoomed 12% and is presently trading at Rs 1,515.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,028 (up 0.8%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are BASF INDIA (up 11.6%) and V-MART RETAIL (up 10.9%).

SUN TV and HEIDELBERG CEMENT (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BASF INDIA has moved up from Rs 1,017 to Rs 1,515, registering a gain of Rs 498 (up 48.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 14,194 to 15,028, registering a gain of 834 points (up 5.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 724.0%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 264.9%) and ESSEL PROPACK (up 251.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 38,580 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are POWER GRID (up 4.1%), SBI (up 2.7%) and NTPC (up 2.7%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 2.3%) and HDFC BANK (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,418 (up 0.7%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include POWER GRID (up 3.8%), NTPC (up 2.6%) and SBI (up 2.6%). Other gainers include SUN PHARMA (up 2.6%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,328 to 38,580, registering a gain of 1,252 points (up 3.14%).

BASF INDIA Financial Update...

BASF INDIA net profit declined 10.0% YoY to Rs 292 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 324 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 12.1% to Rs 17.7 billion during the period as against Rs 20.1 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, BASF INDIA reported 150.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 443.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 879.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 5.3% to Rs 60 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BASF INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 345.6x.
