Indian Stock Market Updates October 16, 2020

IFB INDUSTRIES Share Price Up by 12%; BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index Up 1.4%

IFB INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 12% and is presently trading at Rs 729.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index is at 24,447 (up 1.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index today is IFB INDUSTRIES (up 11.5%).

VIP INDUSTRIES (down 0.1%) and TTK PRESTIGE (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IFB INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 667 to Rs 729, registering a gain of Rs 62 (up 9.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES has moved down from 25,719 to 24,447, loss of 1,272 points (down 5.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES Index stocks during this same period were BAJAJ ELECTRICALS (up 36.1%), CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 10.8%) and VOLTAS (up 2.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 40,126 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 3.9%), POWER GRID (up 2.5%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 2.5%). Other gainers include ICICI BANK (up 2.4%) and AXIS BANK (up 2.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,790 (up 0.8%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include BPCL (up 3.8%), TATA STEEL (up 3.6%) and JSW STEEL (up 3.0%). Other gainers include SHREE CEMENT (up 2.6%) and HDFC BANK (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,214 to 40,126, registering a gain of 1,912 points (up 4.84%).
