BANK OF BARODA Share Price Up by 5%; BSE BANKEX Index Up 2.4%

BANK OF BARODA share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 44.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 28,110 (up 2.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE BANKEX Index today are BANK OF BARODA (up 5.3%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 7.0%).

YES BANK (down 1.5%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, BANK OF BARODA has moved down from Rs 93 to Rs 44, registering a loss of Rs 49 (down 52.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE BANKEX has moved down from 33,776 to 28,110, loss of 5,666 points (down 17.0%) during the last 12 months.

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 39,880 (down 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 7.0%), ICICI BANK (up 4.7%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 3.6%). Other gainers include AXIS BANK (up 2.5%) and SBI (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,697 (down 0.2%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 6.4%), ICICI BANK (up 4.8%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 4.0%). Other gainers include AXIS BANK (up 2.6%) and SBI (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 39,832 to 39,880, registering a gain of 48 points (up -0.69%).

BANK OF BARODA Financial Update...

BANK OF BARODA net profit declined 219.3% YoY to Rs 17 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 14 billion a year ago. Operating income declined 6.0% to Rs 179.2 billion during the period as against Rs 190.7 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, BANK OF BARODA reported 15.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 8.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 10.3 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 49.1% to Rs 789 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BANK OF BARODA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 236.2x.
