Indian Stock Market Updates November 18, 2020

ADANI TRANSMISSION at All Time High; BSE POWER Index Up 1.3%

ADANI TRANSMISSION share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 386 (up 4.4%).

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,921 (up 1.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER Index today are ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 4.4%) and SIEMENS (up 1.4%).

KALPATARU POWER (down 0.1%) and JSW ENERGY (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ADANI TRANSMISSION has moved up from Rs 271 to Rs 386, registering a gain of Rs 115 (up 41.5%).

The BSE POWER has moved down from 1,923 to 1,921, loss of 2 points (down 0.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 41.5%), KEC INTERNATIONAL (up 22.6%) and GMR INFRA (up 17.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 44,052 (up 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SBI (up 1.5%), ICICI BANK (up 1.3%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.2%). Other gainers include L&T (up 1.1%) and M&M (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,902 . The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 2.5%), ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 2.3%) and SBI (up 1.5%). Other gainers include POWER GRID (up 1.2%) and JSW STEEL (up 1.0%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,286 to 44,052, registering a gain of 3,766 points (up 9.2%).
