JAIN IRRIGATION at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 1.0%

JAIN IRRIGATION share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 20 (up 9.9%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 16,897 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are JAIN IRRIGATION (up 9.9%) and UJJIVAN FINANCIAL SERVICES (up 20.0%).

LAKSHMI VILAS BANK (down 10.0%) and CORPORATION BANK (down 3.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, JAIN IRRIGATION has moved up from Rs 11 to Rs 20, registering a gain of Rs 9 (up 78.60%).

The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,395 to 16,897, registering a gain of 1,502 points (up 9.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 1105.8%), LAURUS LABS (up 318.8%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 225.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 44,271 (up 0.7%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.8%), INDUSIND BANK (up 4.1%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 3.6%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 2.5%) and NTPC (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,962 (up 0.5%). BAJAJ FINSERV (up 4.3%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 3.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,470 to 44,271, registering a gain of 3,801 points (up 9.2%).

JAIN IRRIGATION Financial Update...

JAIN IRRIGATION net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 911 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 36.2% to Rs 13.0 billion during the period as against Rs 20.4 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, JAIN IRRIGATION reported 14.9% increase in net profit to Rs 2.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.2 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 8.6% to Rs 86 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAIN IRRIGATION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 3.0x.
