STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Share Price Up by 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 1.9%

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 839.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 21,417 (up 1.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today are STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (up 5.1%) and NATCO PHARMA (up 5.2%).

PROCTER & GAMBLE HEALTH (down 0.2%) and THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE has moved up from Rs 377 to Rs 839, registering a gain of Rs 462 (up 121.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 13,446 to 21,417, registering a gain of 7,971 points (up 59.1%) during the last 12 months.

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 45,292 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SUN PHARMA (up 3.8%), ONGC (up 2.5%) and HUL (up 2.2%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 2.2%) and NTPC (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,322 (up 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include SUN PHARMA (up 3.7%), DR. REDDYS LAB (up 3.1%) and ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 3.1%). Other gainers include UPL (up 2.9%) and HUL (up 2.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,675 to 45,292, registering a gain of 4,617 points (up 11.12%).

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Financial Update...

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.7% to Rs 7.8 billion during the period as against Rs 7.3 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE reported 58.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 28 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.5x.
