Indian Stock Market Updates December 21, 2020

NCC Share Price Down by 6%; BSE REALTY Index Down 2.0%

NCC share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 57.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,417 (down 2.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY Index today are NCC (down 6.3%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 6.1%).

OBEROI REALTY (up 0.5%) is among the top gainer today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 53 to Rs 57, registering a gain of Rs 4 (up 6.8%)..

The BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,210 to 2,417, registering a gain of 207 points (up 9.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 45.5%), INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 11.9%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 5.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 47,056 (down 1.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NESTLE (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are RELIANCE IND. and INFOSYS.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,778 (down 1.2%). CIPLA (up 1.0%) and INFOSYS (up 0.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,352 to 47,056, registering a gain of 5,704 points (up 12.35%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit down at Rs 667 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 2.3% to Rs 23.3 billion during the period as against Rs 22.8 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, NCC reported 153.1% increase in net profit to Rs 6.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.7 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 53.7% to Rs 129 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.8x.
