WELSPUN CORP Share Price Down by 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 2.1%

WELSPUN CORP share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 131.
Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,967 (down 2.1%).
Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are WELSPUN CORP (down 6.1%) and BHEL (down 6.3%).
HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 5.6%) is among the top gainer today.
Over the last one year, WELSPUN CORP has moved down from Rs 137 to Rs 131, registering a loss of Rs 6 (down 4.3%)..

The BSE Sensex is at 47,056 (down 1.3%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NESTLE (up 0.7%), INFOSYS (up 0.3%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are INFOSYS and HCL TECHNOLOGIES.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,778 (down 1.2%). CIPLA (up 1.0%) and INFOSYS (up 0.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

WELSPUN CORP Financial Update...
WELSPUN CORP net profit down at Rs 597 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.5% to Rs 27.6 billion during the period as against Rs 28.9 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2019, WELSPUN CORP reported 43.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.6 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 41.5% to Rs 87 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of WELSPUN CORP, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.7x.
