LINDE INDIA Share Price Up by 7%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 0.3%

LINDE INDIA share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 988.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 13,790 (up 0.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today is LINDE INDIA (up 6.7%).

HPCL (down 0.1%) and GAIL (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, LINDE INDIA has moved up from Rs 660 to Rs 988, registering a gain of Rs 328 (up 47.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 14,841 to 13,790, loss of 1,051 points (down 7.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE IND. (up 24.9%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 12.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 46,492 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 3.5%), HUL (up 2.8%) and INFOSYS (up 2.4%). Other gainers include M&M (up 2.3%) and ITC (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,619 (up 1.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include WIPRO (up 5.7%), CIPLA (up 3.6%) and TATA STEEL (up 3.4%). Other gainers include TATA MOTORS (up 2.8%) and HUL (up 2.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,643 to 46,492, registering a gain of 4,849 points (up 11.60%).

LINDE INDIA Financial Update...

LINDE INDIA net profit down at Rs 390 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 6 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 8.6% to Rs 3.8 billion during the period as against Rs 4.1 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended December 2018, LINDE INDIA reported 18.5% increase in net profit to Rs 257.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 217.0 million during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.6% to Rs 22 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LINDE INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.3x.
