STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Share Price Up by 5%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.9%

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 927.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE Index is at 22,071 (up 0.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE Index today is STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (up 5.2%).

NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA and FORTIS HEALTHCARE are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE has moved up from Rs 362 to Rs 927, registering a gain of Rs 565 (up 156.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE has moved up from 13,429 to 22,071, registering a gain of 8,642 points (up 64.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 3.5%), ONGC (up 2.1%) and TCS (up 1.6%). Other gainers include L&T (up 1.5%) and SUN PHARMA (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,114 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include HINDALCO (up 3.8%), TATA STEEL (up 3.6%) and TATA MOTORS (up 2.8%). Other gainers include BPCL (up 2.7%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 2.5%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,254 to 48,168, registering a gain of 6,914 points (up 16.47%).

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE Financial Update...

STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.7% to Rs 7.8 billion during the period as against Rs 7.3 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE reported 58.6% decrease in net profit to Rs 1.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.2 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 28 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 36.0x.
