Indian Stock Market Updates January 6, 2021

ERIS LIFESCIENCES at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 0.2%

ERIS LIFESCIENCES share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 625 (up 4.1%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 18,784 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are ERIS LIFESCIENCES (up 4.1%) and TRIDENT (up 9.3%).

DHFL (down 4.9%) and PHILLIPS CARBON BLACK (down 4.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ERIS LIFESCIENCES has moved up from Rs 472 to Rs 625, registering a gain of Rs 153 (up 30.44%).

The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,466 to 18,784, registering a gain of 3,318 points (up 21.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 448.3%), LAURUS LABS (up 374.7%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 262.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 48,617 . The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 3.1%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 2.4%) and SBI (up 1.9%). Other gainers include TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.8%) and TITAN (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,244 (up 0.1%). GAIL (up 3.4%) and ONGC (up 3.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,677 to 48,617, registering a gain of 7,940 points (up 19.0%).
