Indian Stock Market Updates January 12, 2021

TATA MOTORS DVR Share Price Up by 6%; BSE AUTO Index Up 1.2%

TATA MOTORS DVR share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 96.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO Index is at 22,851 (up 1.2%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE AUTO Index today are TATA MOTORS DVR (up 6.1%) and TATA MOTORS (up 7.0%).

MARUTI SUZUKI (down 0.7%) and BAJAJ AUTO (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, TATA MOTORS DVR has moved up from Rs 75 to Rs 96, registering a gain of Rs 21 (up 27.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO has moved up from 17,823 to 22,851, registering a gain of 5,028 points (up 28.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE AUTO Index stocks during this same period were BALKRISHNA INDUSTRIES (up 73.1%), ASHOK LEYLAND (up 51.0%) and M&M (up 50.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,267 (down 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 2.8%), RELIANCE IND. (up 1.3%) and L&T (up 1.3%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 0.9%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,500 (down 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 6.4%), GAIL (up 4.2%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 2.8%). Other gainers include TATA STEEL (up 2.4%) and COAL INDIA (up 1.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,818 to 49,267, registering a gain of 8,449 points (up 20.59%).
