Indian Stock Market Updates January 14, 2021

INDRAPRASTHA GAS at All Time High; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 0.8%

INDRAPRASTHA GAS share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 575 (up 1.6%).

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 15,269 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 1.6%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 0.4%).

CASTROL INDIA (down 0.4%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, INDRAPRASTHA GAS has moved up from Rs 421 to Rs 575, registering a gain of Rs 154 (up 36.7%).

The BSE OIL & GAS has moved up from 14,719 to 15,269, registering a gain of 550 points (up 3.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 36.7%), RELIANCE IND. (up 27.3%) and GAIL (up 10.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,459 (down 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 1.6%), L&T (up 1.2%) and ITC (up 1.2%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 1.1%) and NTPC (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and RELIANCE IND..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,557 (down 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 2.4%), ITC (up 1.8%) and UPL (up 1.6%). Other gainers include IOC (up 1.6%) and GAIL (up 1.5%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,860 to 49,459, registering a gain of 7,599 points (up 18.1%).

INDRAPRASTHA GAS Financial Update...

INDRAPRASTHA GAS net profit down at Rs 318 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 62.3% to Rs 6.9 billion during the period as against Rs 18.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, INDRAPRASTHA GAS reported 16.2% increase in net profit to Rs 7.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 26.9% to Rs 64 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDRAPRASTHA GAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.4x.
