BEML LTD. share price has Zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 868.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,257 (Up 0.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are BEML LTD. (up 5.4%). and SUZLON ENERGY (up 6.2%)..

L&T (down 0.2%) and WELSPUN CORP (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BEML LTD. has moved down from Rs 1,657 to Rs 868, registering a loss of Rs 789 (down 47.8%)

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 17,833 to 18,257, registering a gain of 424 points (up 2.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were GRAPHITE INDIA (up 416.6%), LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 39.2%) and HAVELLS IND (up 35.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 37,497 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SBI (up 3.3%), ONGC (up 2.8%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.5%). Other gainers include VEDANTA LTD (up 2.5%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,309 (up 0.2%). BANK OF BARODA (up 6.6%) and HPCL (up 3.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 32,383 to 37,497, registering a gain of 5,114 points (up 15.6%).

BEML LTD. Financial Update...

BEML LTD. net profit grew 1024.6% YoY to Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2018, compared to a profit of Rs 167 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 71.2% to Rs 12.5 billion during the period as against Rs 7.3 billion in January-March 2017.

For the year ended March 2017, BEML LTD. reported 31.7% increase in net profit to Rs 848.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 644.0 million during FY16.

Revenue of the company grew 13.7% to Rs 28 billion during FY17.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BEML LTD., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.8x.
