AVANTI FEEDS Surges by 11%; BSE 500 Index Down 0.9%

AVANTI FEEDS share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 458.
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,509 (down 0.9%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are AVANTI FEEDS (up 11.0%) and MONSANTO INDIA (up 10.3%).
JUST DIAL and NALCO (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, AVANTI FEEDS has moved down from Rs 624 to Rs 458, registering a loss of Rs 166 (down 26.9%).
On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 14,075 to 15,509, registering a gain of 1,434 points (up 9.3%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were HEG LTD (up 439.9%), GRAPHITE INDIA (up 267.9%) and NIIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 172.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 38,028 (down 1.3%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are POWER GRID (up 0.8%), TATA STEEL (up 0.5%) and TCS (up 0.4%). Other gainers include ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 0.4%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 0.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA STEEL and ADANI PORTS & SEZ.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,465 (down 1.2%). BPCL (up 2.8%) and HPCL (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 32,242 to 38,028, registering a gain of 5,786 points (up 16.6%).
AVANTI FEEDS Financial Update...
AVANTI FEEDS net profit down at Rs 904 million for the quarter ended June 2018, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 47.3% to Rs 10.4 billion during the period as against Rs 7.1 billion in April-June 2017.
For the year ended March 2018, AVANTI FEEDS reported 105.8% increase in net profit to Rs 4.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.3 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 29.7% to Rs 34 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of AVANTI FEEDS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 1.0x.
