Year-on-Year Performance:

• The company's operating income during the quarter fell 45.6% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 40.9% YoY during the same period.
• The company's operating profit declined by 77.3% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 30.5% in 1QFY20 as against 73.2% in 1QFY19.
• Depreciation charges increased by 18.2% and finance costs increased by 400.0% YoY, respectively.
• Other income increased by 103.6% YoY during the quarter.
• Net profit for the quarter declined by 74.2% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter declined from 47.5% in 1QFY19 to 21.6% in 1QFY20.

Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:

• The company's operating income during the quarter fell 42.9% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were down by 18.9% QoQ during the same period.
• The company's operating profit declined by 63.5% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 30.5% in 1QFY20 as against 47.8% in 4QFY19.
• Net profit for the quarter declined by 60.8% QoQ, while net profit margins declined from 32.0% in 4QFY19 to 21.6% in 1QFY20.
