Year-on-Year Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter grew 8.5% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 8.8% YoY during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit increased by 7.4% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins remained same and stood at 21.2% in 2QFY19.
  • Depreciation charges increased by 7.5% and finance costs increased by 16.8% YoY, respectively.
  • Other income declined by 3.7% YoY during the quarter.
  • Net profit for the quarter increased by 4.0% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter declined from 17.8% in 2QFY18 to 17.1% in 2QFY19.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter grew 2.1% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were down by 1.2% QoQ during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit increased by 16.8% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 21.2% in 2QFY19 as against 18.6% in 1QFY18.
  • Net profit for the quarter increased by 14.4% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 15.3% in 1QFY18 to 17.1% in 2QFY19.

DABUR Share Price Performance

Over the last one year, DABUR share price has moved up from Rs 343.0 to Rs 366.8, registering a Gain of Rs 23.8 or around 6.9%.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE FMCG Index is trading at Rs 11,135.2 (down 0.5%). Over the last one year it has moved up from 10,329.8 to 11,135.2, a gain of 805 points (up 7.8%).
