Year-on-Year Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter grew 4.7% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 8.0% YoY during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit declined by 21.3% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 17.9% in 4QFY19 as against 23.9% in 4QFY18.
  • Depreciation charges increased by 8.5% and finance costs declined by 6.3% YoY, respectively.
  • Other income declined by 9.8% YoY during the quarter.
  • Net profit for the quarter declined by 6.5% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter declined from 18.9% in 4QFY18 to 16.9% in 4QFY19.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter fell 3.2% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were down by 4.7% QoQ during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit declined by 14.2% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 17.9% in 4QFY19 as against 20.2% in 3QFY18.
  • Net profit for the quarter increased by 1.3% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 16.1% in 3QFY18 to 16.9% in 4QFY19.

Over the last one year, DABUR share price has moved up from Rs 369.5 to Rs 378.8, registering a Gain of Rs 9.4 or around 2.5%.
