Year-on-Year Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter grew 7.6% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 9.0% YoY during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit declined by 8.4% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 6.6% in 4QFY19 as against 7.8% in 4QFY18.
  • Depreciation charges declined by 37.3% and finance costs declined by 49.3% YoY, respectively.
  • Other income declined by 43.7% YoY during the quarter.
  • Net profit for the quarter declined by 25.9% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter declined from 5.8% in 4QFY18 to 4.0% in 4QFY19.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
  • The company's operating income during the quarter grew 19.5% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were up by 20.0% QoQ during the same period.
  • The company's operating profit declined by 13.8% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 6.6% in 4QFY19 as against 6.9% in 3QFY18.
  • Net profit for the quarter increased by 28.3% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 3.7% in 3QFY18 to 4.0% in 4QFY19.
