Interim results exclude extraordinary / exceptional items
Year-on-Year Performance:
- The company's operating income during the quarter fell 5.3% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were down by 6.7% YoY during the same period.
- The company's operating profit declined by 58.6% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 3.5% in 4QFY19 as against 7.9% in 4QFY18.
- Depreciation charges declined by 5.5% and finance costs declined by 13.3% YoY, respectively.
- Other income declined by 32.2% YoY during the quarter.
- Net profit for the quarter increased by 50.0% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter increased from -7.9% in 4QFY18 to -4.2% in 4QFY19.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
- The company's operating income during the quarter fell 9.5% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were down by 7.6% QoQ during the same period.
- The company's operating profit declined by 141.3% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a decline and stood at 3.5% in 4QFY19 as against 1.3% in 3QFY18.
- Net profit for the quarter declined by 46.1% QoQ, while net profit margins declined from -2.6% in 3QFY18 to -4.2% in 4QFY19.
