KALPATARU POWER has announced its results for the quarter ended December 2019. Here is a detailed performance review of the same:

Year-on-Year Performance:

• The company's operating income during the quarter grew 14.7% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 14.9% YoY during the same period.
• The company's operating profit increased by 26.2% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 11.7% in 3QFY20 as against 10.7% in 3QFY19.
• Depreciation charges increased by 21.6% and finance costs increased by 35.1% YoY, respectively.
• Other income increased by 39.5% YoY during the quarter.
• Net profit for the quarter increased by 48.9% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter increased from 5.3% in 3QFY19 to 6.9% in 3QFY20.

Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:

• The company's operating income during the quarter grew 0.6% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were up by 0.6% QoQ during the same period.
• The company's operating profit increased by 12.1% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 11.7% in 3QFY20 as against 10.5% in 2QFY19.
• Net profit for the quarter increased by 7.9% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 6.4% in 2QFY19 to 6.9% in 3QFY20.
