Interim results exclude extraordinary / exceptional items
Year-on-Year Performance:
- The company's operating income during the quarter grew 15.0% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis. The expenses were up by 4.5% YoY during the same period.
- The company's operating profit increased by 79.4% YoY during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 10.3% in 4QFY20 as against 6.6% in 4QFY19.
- Depreciation charges increased by 10.0% and finance costs increased by 39.0% YoY, respectively.
- Other income increased by 82.1% YoY during the quarter.
- Net profit for the quarter increased by 193.5% YoY. Net profit margins during the quarter increased from 2.1% in 4QFY19 to 5.3% in 4QFY20.
Quarter-on-Quarter Performance:
- The company's operating income during the quarter grew 17.1% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis. The expenses were up by 4.4% QoQ during the same period.
- The company's operating profit increased by 223.4% QoQ during the quarter. Consequently, operating profit margins witnessed a growth and stood at 10.3% in 4QFY20 as against 3.7% in 3QFY19.
- Net profit for the quarter increased by 80.9% QoQ, while net profit margins increased from 3.5% in 3QFY19 to 5.3% in 4QFY20.
