The BSE Sensex is at 50,400 (down 3.0%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SUN PHARMA (up 0.7%), NESTLE (up 0.2%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 0.2%). Other gainer include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 0.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SUN PHARMA and MARUTI SUZUKI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,919 (down 2.8%). SUN PHARMA (up 1.1%) and DR. REDDYS LAB (up 0.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,363 to 50,400, registering a gain of 10,037 points (up 22.59%).
APOLLO TYRES net profit stood at Rs 4 billion for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 17.1% to Rs 51.5 billion during the period as against Rs 44.0 billion in October-December 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, APOLLO TYRES reported 34.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 7.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 11.0 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 6.2% to Rs 149 billion during FY18.
