BIRLA CORPORATION share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 635.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 14,756 (up 1.0%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today is BIRLA CORPORATION (down 6.8%).

EMAMI LTD (up 16.4%) and BHARAT ELECTRONICS (up 13.7%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, BIRLA CORPORATION has moved up from Rs 592 to Rs 635, registering a gain of Rs 43 (up 7.3%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,029 to 14,756, registering a gain of 727 points (up 5.2%) during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 38,400 (up 0.9%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are M&M (up 4.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,326 (up 1.0%). CIPLA (up 4.7%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,690 to 38,400, registering a gain of 1,710 points (up 4.65%).

BIRLA CORPORATION net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 815 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 1.5% to Rs 16.9 billion during the period as against Rs 17.2 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, BIRLA CORPORATION reported 53.6% increase in net profit to Rs 2.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.7 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 10.2% to Rs 65 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BIRLA CORPORATION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.3x.
