CYIENT Share Price Up by 10%; BSE IT Index Up 0.5%

CYIENT share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 633.
Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 26,243 (up 0.5%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE IT Index today is CYIENT (up 10.3%).
MINDTREE (down 0.2%) and PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, CYIENT has moved up from Rs 485 to Rs 633, registering a gain of Rs 148 (up 30.5%).
On the other hand, the BSE IT has moved up from 16,098 to 26,243, registering a gain of 10,145 points (up 62.7%) during the last 12 months.
The top buzzing stocks among the BSE IT Index stocks during this same period were TATA ELXSI (up 168.4%), FIRSTSOURCE SOLUTIONS (up 111.2%) and PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 110.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 48,387 (down 0.7%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.8%), ITC (up 1.3%) and L&T (up 1.2%). Other gainers include M&M (up 0.8%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and L&T.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,238 (down 0.8%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include WIPRO (up 2.6%), ITC (up 2.0%) and TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.5%). Other gainers include M&M (up 1.5%) and L&T (up 1.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,115 to 48,387, registering a gain of 7,272 points (up 16.77%).
CYIENT Financial Update...
CYIENT net profit down at Rs 954 million for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 5.6% to Rs 10.4 billion during the period as against Rs 11.1 billion in October-December 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, CYIENT reported 28.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 4.8 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 4.1% to Rs 44 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of CYIENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.0x.
