CYIENT at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Down 0.7%

CYIENT share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 647 (up 11.4%).
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 18,692 (down 0.7%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are CYIENT (up 11.4%) and MMTC (up 7.2%).
CHENNAI PETROLEUM (down 16.8%) and GATEWAY DISTRIPARKS (down 6.0%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, CYIENT has moved up from Rs 485 to Rs 647, registering a gain of Rs 162 (up 31.71%).
The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,797 to 18,692, registering a gain of 2,895 points (up 17.4%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 423.8%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 236.3%) and TATA ELXSI (up 166.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 48,387 (down 0.7%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ITC (up 1.6%), TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.6%) and M&M (up 1.4%). Other gainers include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 1.2%) and L&T (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and L&T.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,238 (down 0.8%). WIPRO (up 2.7%) and M&M (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,115 to 48,387, registering a gain of 7,272 points (up 16.8%).
CYIENT Financial Update...
CYIENT net profit down at Rs 954 million for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 5.6% to Rs 10.4 billion during the period as against Rs 11.1 billion in October-December 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, CYIENT reported 28.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 4.8 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 4.1% to Rs 44 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of CYIENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.2x.
