GRINDWELL NORTON Share Price Down by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 1.5%

GRINDWELL NORTON share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 950.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 22,200 (down 1.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is GRINDWELL NORTON (down 5.1%).

V GUARD INDUSTRIES (up 3.3%) and AIA ENGINEERING (up 0.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, GRINDWELL NORTON has moved up from Rs 584 to Rs 950, registering a gain of Rs 366 (up 62.5%)..

The BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 15,492 to 22,200, registering a gain of 6,708 points (up 43.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were GRAPHITE INDIA (up 101.9%), BHARAT ELECTRONICS (up 96.9%) and LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 95.2%).

The BSE Sensex is at 50,886 (down 0.8%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and RELIANCE IND..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,092 (down 0.8%). ONGC (up 2.0%) is among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,624 to 50,886, registering a gain of 12,262 points (up 30.62%).

GRINDWELL NORTON Financial Update...

GRINDWELL NORTON net profit down at Rs 282 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 470 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 43.3% to Rs 2.3 billion during the period as against Rs 4.1 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, GRINDWELL NORTON reported 11.8% increase in net profit to Rs 1.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 1.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 9.9% to Rs 16 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRINDWELL NORTON, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 58.9x.
