IRB INFRA Share Price Up by 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.1%

IRB INFRA share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 113.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,866 (up 0.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today are IRB INFRA (up 5.1%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 5.5%).

PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 0.2%) and OMAXE (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IRB INFRA has moved up from Rs 94 to Rs 113, registering a gain of Rs 19 (up 20.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,246 to 2,866, registering a gain of 620 points (up 25.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were DLF (up 46.0%), MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 44.7%) and SOBHA (up 42.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 50,425 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are M&M (up 4.5%), TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.7%) and NTPC (up 2.4%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.9%) and TCS (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,934 (up 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include M&M (up 4.3%), TATA MOTORS (up 3.8%) and WIPRO (up 3.5%). Other gainers include HERO MOTOCORP (up 3.4%) and BPCL (up 2.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 39,889 to 50,425, registering a gain of 10,536 points (up 25.21%).

IRB INFRA Financial Update...

IRB INFRA net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 9.1% to Rs 15.8 billion during the period as against Rs 17.4 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, IRB INFRA reported 7.2% increase in net profit to Rs 8.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 7.9 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 17.8% to Rs 67 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IRB INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 5.4x.
