JAIN IRRIGATION at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 1.0%

JAIN IRRIGATION share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 26 (up 5.0%).
Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 20,177 (up 0.8%).
Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are JAIN IRRIGATION (up 5.0%) and BALMER LAWRIE (up 12.0%).
CORPORATION BANK (down 3.9%) and BPCL (down 3.8%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, JAIN IRRIGATION has moved up from Rs 5 to Rs 26, registering a gain of Rs 22 (up 444.42%).
The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,706 to 20,177, registering a gain of 5,471 points (up 37.0%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 669.5%), JAIN IRRIGATION (up 444.4%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 375.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 50,995 (up 0.9%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HDFC BANK (up 2.4%), ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 2.1%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.9%). Other gainers include HDFC (up 1.7%) and AXIS BANK (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,119 (up 0.9%). GRASIM (up 4.1%) and SBI LIFE INSURANCE (up 3.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,471 to 50,995, registering a gain of 12,524 points (up 32.3%).
JAIN IRRIGATION Financial Update...
JAIN IRRIGATION net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 911 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 36.2% to Rs 13.0 billion during the period as against Rs 20.4 billion in October-December 2018.
For the year ended March 2019, JAIN IRRIGATION reported 14.9% increase in net profit to Rs 2.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.2 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 8.6% to Rs 86 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of JAIN IRRIGATION, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 3.8x.
