KEI INDUSTRIES at All Time High; BSE POWER Index Down 0.3%

KEI INDUSTRIES share price has hit an all-time high at Rs 930 (up 1.9%).

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 3,056 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER Index today are KEI INDUSTRIES (up 1.9%) and SIEMENS (up 0.1%).

TATA POWER (down 0.2%) and KEC INTERNATIONAL (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KEI INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 357 to Rs 930, registering a gain of Rs 573 (up 157.2%).

The BSE POWER has moved up from 1,645 to 3,056, registering a gain of 1,411 points (up 84.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 513.2%), JSW ENERGY (up 506.5%) and RELIANCE INFRA (up 352.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 60,333 (up 0.5%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.7%), INFOSYS (up 2.2%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 2.1%). Other gainers include L&T (up 2.0%) and TCS (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 17,948 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 3.1%), WIPRO (up 2.8%) and GRASIM (up 2.6%). Other gainers include INFOSYS (up 2.2%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.8%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 37,734 to 60,333, registering a gain of 22,599 points (up 59.5%).

KEI INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

KEI INDUSTRIES net profit down at Rs 671 million for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 797 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 11.7% to Rs 10.2 billion during the period as against Rs 11.5 billion in April-June 2020.

For the year ended March 2021, KEI INDUSTRIES reported 6.6% increase in net profit to Rs 2.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.6 billion during FY20.

Revenue of the company grew 14.4% to Rs 42 billion during FY21.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KEI INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 27.1x.
