L&T TECHONOLOGY Share Price Up by 5%; BSE IT Index Up 2.4%

L&T TECHONOLOGY share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 2,732.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 25,338 (up 2.4%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE IT Index today are L&T TECHONOLOGY (up 5.4%) and L&T INFOTECH (up 5.4%).

CYIENT (down 0.3%) and TATA ELXSI (down 1.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, L&T TECHONOLOGY has moved up from Rs 1,679 to Rs 2,732, registering a gain of Rs 1,053 (up 61.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT has moved up from 16,023 to 25,338, registering a gain of 9,315 points (up 57.9%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE IT Index stocks during this same period were INTELLECT DESIGN (up 253.7%), TATA ELXSI (up 168.9%) and PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 136.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 50,425 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are M&M (up 4.8%), NTPC (up 3.7%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 3.2%). Other gainers include TECH MAHINDRA (up 3.0%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,934 (up 0.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 5.5%), M&M (up 5.0%) and WIPRO (up 3.9%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 3.8%) and ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 3.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 39,889 to 50,425, registering a gain of 10,536 points (up 25.65%).
