REDINGTON Share Price Up by 10%; BSE 500 Index Up 2.3%

REDINGTON share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 151.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,246 (up 2.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are REDINGTON (up 10.3%) and STRIDES PHARMA SCIENCE (up 12.8%).

BEML (down 0.1%) and NLC INDIA (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, REDINGTON has moved up from Rs 118 to Rs 151, registering a gain of Rs 33 (up 27.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE 500 has moved up from 15,892 to 19,246, registering a gain of 3,354 points (up 20.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SBI (up 7.2%), ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 7.2%) and HDFC BANK (up 6.0%). Other gainers include HDFC (up 5.4%) and L&T (up 4.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,732 (up 2.7%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 12.2%), SBI (up 7.6%) and SHREE CEMENT (up 7.5%). Other gainers include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 7.3%) and GRASIM (up 7.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,199 to 50,154, registering a gain of 8,955 points (up 20.87%).

REDINGTON Financial Update...

REDINGTON net profit down at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 14.3% to Rs 126.7 billion during the period as against Rs 147.8 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, REDINGTON reported 0.0% increase in net profit to Rs 4.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 4.8 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 11.9% to Rs 465 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of REDINGTON, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.9x.
