The BSE AUTO Index Down 2% ; APOLLO TYRES Among Top Losers

The BSE AUTO Index has plunged 2% to 23,576.

Among the top losers in the BSE AUTO Index today are APOLLO TYRES (down 4.7%), M&M (down 4.7%) and ASHOK LEYLAND (down 4.0%). Other losers include TATA MOTORS (down 3.2%) and MOTHERSON SUMI (down 2.5%).

MARUTI SUZUKI (up 0.6%) is among the top gainer today.

Over the last one year, the BSE AUTO Index has moved up from 16,776 to 23,576, registering a gain of 6,800 points (up 40.5%).

What about the Benchmark Indices?

Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex has plunged 2.7% to 50,400.

Among the top gainers in the BSE Sensex today are SUN PHARMA (up 0.8%), MARUTI SUZUKI (up 0.6%) and NTPC (up 0.6%). Other gainer include NESTLE (up 0.2%).

The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and SUN PHARMA.

In the meantime, the NSE Nifty is at 14,919 (down 2.8%).
