LAKSHMI VILAS BANK Plunges by 5%; BSE BANKEX Index Down 0.1%

LAKSHMI VILAS BANK share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 89.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 28,318 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE BANKEX Index today are LAKSHMI VILAS BANK (down 5.1%) and YES BANK (down 5.1%).

AXIS BANK (up 1.7%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, LAKSHMI VILAS BANK has moved down from Rs 138 to Rs 89, registering a loss of Rs 49 (down 35.7%)..

The BSE BANKEX has moved up from 27,184 to 28,318, registering a gain of 1,134 points (up 4.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE BANKEX Index stocks during this same period were AXIS BANK (up 21.2%), KOTAK MAH. BANK (up 16.0%) and ICICI BANK (up 9.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 36,586 (up 0.1%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INFOSYS LTD (up 2.5%), MARUTI SUZUKI (up 2.1%) and SUN PHARMA (up 2.1%). Other gainers include HIND. UNILEVER (up 2.0%) and ASIAN PAINTS (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are AXIS BANK and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,049 (down 0.1%). CIPLA (up 2.1%) and DR. REDDYS LAB (up 2.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,627 to 36,586, registering a gain of 4,959 points (up 14.9%).
